After reading all the benefits above, the facial bar certainly sounds wonderful and almost like a miracle to all the problems that one may face. Remember that I mentioned that I am in the process of reviewing a soap cleanser in one of the older blog post? Well, this is the one I mentioned and finally, I think its time for me to review it.

A colleague highly recommended this facial bar to a colleague and myself as his wife had used this bar with astounding results. She had developed much pigmentation on her face during her course of pregnancy and it was all cleared when she used this bar. Their 3 sons are also using this bar with good results. No more sensitive skin.

And so, the colleague and myself bought them to try. We got a good deal as my colleague's brother-in-law is one of the distributor and we managed to get it at a cheaper price than retail. I paid about RM50 for 1 bar but we need to get a box of 4 bars, so I shared with my colleague and each of us bought 2 bars.
He was a close colleague of ours, so I believed that he is trying to share the good news with us. My colleague and myself have slight pigmentation and we hoped that this bar can really lift us out from this pigmentation misery.

I never have any good experience with cleansing soap because it just dries my skin every time. I sincerely hope this is really the miracle bar as claimed. I have been using this bar every night for 1 month but really hated it. I thought of giving it another chance. I stopped using it for a while and usde it on and on-off basis when my skin is not tight or dehydrated but the bar still failed my expectations of it.

It feels natural and smells natural, a very soap-like scent. Its difficult for me to explain.
Brown in colour, its a tiny 25g bar and does not lather very well. I have to use some water and lather for a while, before it foams up and used as a cleanser on my face.

Skin feels tight after cleansing and there were some flakiness on the skin after 5 days of usage. I absolutely hated it. I longed to see some benefits on my skin but seriously, I have no glowing reviews about this bar.
Since my skin felt tight and dehydrated, I decided to use it only when my skin is oily but it still does not deliver its benefits as claimed.

Too bad, this bar is just not for me. My colleague have also reported no good reviews on her end. Her skin does not feel tight but she just does not see any improvement to her skin tone.
RM50 is expensive, considering that its made in Indonesia. Retail prices are even higher. Do find a distributor if you are seriously considering to get this bar.

Review : Beauty Credit Moisture Collagen Mask

Product Description
- Collagen strengthens and firms up skin, prevents aging
- Reduces free radicals, slows skin degeneration and aging
- Moisturizes as well as soothes inflamed or damaged skin.
- 100% cotton hypoallergenic mask

I bought 5 sheets over in Korea last year and only managed to use it up this year, wanting to reserve it for a special occasion. I simply adore collagen masks, so is always leaving it for some special use. Perhaps due to my feel-good experience with Bioglo Collagen Mask, I feel happy to own collagen masks in my stash for any emergency use.

The sheet is thin, unlike most other Beauty Credit 100% cotton masks. It tears easily and is heavily soaked in essence, which has a heavy fragrance that can be overwhelming. The size is just slightly larger than my face but still fits well. It moisturises very well and gives a dewy glow to my skin.
However, because of the overwhelming fragrance, its not something I would get again.

Review : The Beauty Diary Yoghurt Mask

Product Description
- To reduce sebum secretion
- Repair, moisturise and nourish skin

Main Ingredients
Yoghurt : Deeply nourishes and maintains fresh skin condition and moisture content
Witch Hazel : Soothes, moisturises deeper stratum of skin
Hyaluronic Acid : Prevents moisture evaporation, nourishes stratum corneum of skin

This is actually the first box of My Beauty Diary facial sheet masks which I bought all the way from Hong Kong quite some time back. It was not available in Singapore then. At $1 per piece, it was pretty affordable. Subsequently, I got the rest from Taiwan during my vacation trip at less than $1 per piece.

I have not been using this that regularly, as it was recommended for those with oily skin, hence I only use this, when I have blemishes or when my skin turned oily. Recently, I have some breakouts and decided to used up the rest of the masks.
The size of the mask is slightly larger than my face but more or less, alright, as it adheres well to my skin. The texture of the sheet mask is neither too thin nor too thick but is still able to tear, if not careful.
Its soaked with essence but still confined within the sheet and not the kind of dripping mess associated with some masks. The scent reminded me of strawberry milk shake. Lovely and yummy.

The remaining essence is absorbed into the skin, without leaving any stickiness. Its touted to be able to reduce sebum secretion which I agreed to some extent. My oily T-zone seems slightly better the next day at work. Less shine. But only very slightly. The difference is not that great.
I cannot agree with the moisturising part though, as I do not feel that my skin have become hydrated. The areas where my blemish cream have dried them, leaving flakiness in its place did not become better, even after using these masks. Its still flaky and dehydrated.
My pimples did feel slightly better, lesser redness and size become smaller but then again, I am also using my blemish cream so I think it could also be due to the cream too.

This mask received 3.8 scoring from 5 users in Makeupalley

Review : H20+ Eye Oasis Moisture Replenishing Treatment

H2O Plus Eye Oasis® Moisture Replenishing Treatment

Product Description
An oil-free, intensive, hydrating eye treatment that floods skin with moisture helping to diminish fine lines while revitalizing texture and appearance. Penetrating liposomes transplant Provitamin B and vitamins A, C, and E to help protect skin from environmental exposure. Anti-aging sea botanicals help increase cell renewal.

Benefits :
- Floods skin with essential hydration
- Lessens the appearance of fine lines
- Revitalizes texture and overall look of the eye contour area
- Helps protect skin from environmental damage

As part of my H20 haul in March this year, this 4ml sample size was a complimentary gift. I started using this, when I brought it to Japan in early Oct and have been using this since. Its been almost 2 months of usage and I think its time to review them. 4ml certainly last me very long, I still have abit left from the tube but since its neither transparent nor translucent, its difficult for me to judge the exact amount left in it.

The content is a lovely green in colour and the texture is light. Whats great is that its oil-free, definitely suitable for people who are prone to millia seeds around the eyes area.
There is a slight marine scent but nothing too heavy and the application on the under eye area is light and refreshing. Instructions on the tube did suggest that it can also be used as an eye mask but I did not follow thru that as I found it to be abit wasteful, especially since I also have eye mask sheets in stock at home.

However, sadly, I experienced none of the benefits as claimed. It did provide a refreshing feel to my tired under eye area but it did not really increase the hydration level after almost 2 months of usage. Fine lines are still obvious.
For those who do not have heavy eye area concerns, I believe this would be a good eye product as daily maintenance.

Review : Caudalie Beauty Elixir

                                                                      Caudalie Beauty Elixir Review

Product Description
The original Beauty Elixir from Caudalie in a handy travel size! Inspired by the 'elixir of youth' used by Queen Isabelle of Hungary, this facial mist tightens pores and provides an instant burst of radiance to the complexion. Suitable for all skin lacking radiance, it can be used as an anti-dull complexion treatment for smokers and is an ideal after-shave spritz for men. Contains Grape Extracts for a glowing complexion, Rosemary Essential Oil, soothing Orange Blossom and Rose Extracts, Benzoin, myrrh and astringent Organic Mint.

Benefits :
- Tightens pores and smoothes the skin
- Provides burst of radiance
- Revitalises and brightens skin

Caudalie is actually a skincare line from France, providing a range of anti-aging skincare for all skincare types. Formulated with a number of patented ingredients and without synthetic preservatives, Caudalie claims to be able to protect against and reverses common signs of aging.
A major part of their skincare items contain Grape Seeds which is known to combat against free radicals, due to its polyphenols. You can read more about Caudalie and its products from its USA site or UK site

A good friend of mine helped to get this for me from Sephora when her family was in the States in July this year. It was pretty affordable at US$16 for 30ml size. Its also available at Sephora Singapore for S$24.

The size is portable and handy but because the bottle is made of glass, I was not that keen to stash it in my bag as I considered it as heavy and breakable. This is its first product I have tried from Caudalie and I cannot conclude if I do like it as the results were inconsistent.

The name "Beauty Elixir" certainly sounds enchanting, almost magical. It scored 7.4 from 15 users at Total Beauty and 3.6 from 116 users in Makeupalley . Definitely 2 distinct groups of users.

Free of parabens, phenoxyethanol, artificial colouring, mineral oil, Beauty Elixir also boasts of Vinolevure, a Caudalie exclusive, which is extracted from wine yeast. It moisturises and strengthens by protecting the skin's natural defences, while holding up to 100 times its weight in water. With all-natural, antioxidant-rich herbal ingredients and suitable for any skin type, Beauty Elixir is considered as a high-intensity aging prevention skincare item for every lady.

I do not have any weakness for anti-aging skin care products as I always have an impression of them being oily, heavy and greasy for dry and wrinkled skin. My largest skincare concern has always been hydration and I usually tried to avoid oil-based skincare products as my skin developed millia seeds easily.

However, I have a weakness for facial sprays and Beauty Elixir fits my needs, being in a convenient spray bottle that boasts of anti-aging ingredients. At 30ml and with twice daily usage, I used up the bottle in 20days. No kidding!. The mist is very fine and evaporated very fast from the skin. I have to spray alot and quickly pat it into my skin before it evaporates.

The clear bottle has simple yet beautiful fonts on it. The fine mist also meant that I need to spray alot to feel it on my face. It also evaporated very fast hence I usually tried to quickly pat it into my skin before it disappeared. It has a weird medicated oil scent which made me regretting my choice at that moment, however, I become used to the scent after several usages.

It has a layer of yellowish oil-like stains on the top layer which made me check it out at the local Sephora stores just to confirm that its meant to be like that. I made it a point to shake the bottle each time I used it, to avoid getting that murky yellowish stain all on the face.

It has a minty tingly feeling and my skin become smooth after several minutes. It lasted for the next few days. Almost unbelievable, I would say. I love it so much during that period. Soft, smooth and radiant. I had the urge to get another bottle just for my mum's wrinkled skin because its just so wonderful.

I usually used this as part of my toner regime, and before my moisturiser. My moisturiser and make-up goes on well, after using this, since my skin have become softer and smooth.

However, I am dismayed that it contains alcohol and as the 2nd ingredient in the list. Can't they substitute it with something else?

And after loving this product so much, I took a break in between and stopped using this product for several days. My skin turns dehydrated and rough and so I switched back to using this. And guess what? It does not work anymore. No more soft and smooth skin. I just cannot understand it. Its almost as if I have day-dreamed the whole wonderful episode. Am I? Did I?

I also have to proclaim that I did not feel any firming effects since the first use, so does that meant that perhaps my skin is still young? lol...

Review : Shills Hyaluronic Shaking Mask

Product Description
Recommended for dry skin, this miracle gel mask turns into water after shaking and hardens back into a gel after application. Active ingredients help to deeply moisturize and rejuvenate the skin.

How It Works
Keep Shaking for 3 seconds, gel amazingly turns into water essence. Apply to face like a skin mask for deep hydration and water balance. Keep your skin moist and supple.
This gel-water-gel technology uses a quadratic kinetic energy. It utilizing a special condensation crystal sphere to penetrate the essense deep into skin

First kinetic energy: Solid gel state turns into a liquid state. This solid gel technology is able to quickly change into watery liquid (rich in rose & pearl water essence) to be infuse deep into skin.

Second kinetic energy: Liquid state turns to solid gel state. The liquid returns to form a sealing moisture membrane on the skin surface and prevents water from being volatilize into the air.

Thus this helps to moisturize and rejuvenate the skin, balances sebum secretion, control oil shine, tighten pores and gets rid of the acne scars. Skin repair and care, the Hyaluronic aqua shake mask brings to you an amazing experience of firming, whitening and hydrating.

I bought this from Beauty Bistro for $9.95, down from the usual $19.95. It was quite a steal and I thought I would just try and see if its indeed such a miracle.

I have been using this for the past 2 months ( over 50% used up ) and I can only conclude that the effects are only temporary.

It is packaged in a hard plastic bottle which is not very user-friendly. Its just too difficult to get the contents out of the bottle. According to the instructions on the packaging, I am supposed to shake the bottle and the gel-like contents would become fluidized and hence able to flow out from the bottle easily.

However, after shaking the bottle for a short while, only some of the contents have turned to fluid, and only little squirts of the contents splashed onto my palms as I tried to further shake the bottle. I thought it was quite messy.

Next, I tried to squeeze the hard plastic bottle, in order to get the contents out, but the bottle is too hard and after pressing on it for several times, the bottle broke abit. Urgh, another mess again. Thank goodness that the label on the bottle helped to seal in the crack.

There are some tiny white beads within the gel and I am supposed to massage it on my skin. The transparent gel with a slight tinge of blue colour, is refreshing cool and has an almost slippery gel-like texture.

Initially when I started out with this mask, there was not much results on my skin. I used it when my skin was dehydrated but I cannot feel any hydration improvement on my skin after rinsing it off. In fact, my skin feels even more taut, which is quite bad.

However, I still continue to use it faithfully, to see if there is any improvement.

Next, I used this mask after a scrub and finally, I did see some positive results yet not entirely positive. I experienced some itchiness on the skin after 20minutes which I quickly wash it off. This itchiness does not happen every time. Only once. That one time, was after several usages of the mask.

It was fine, on other times. My skin did indeed become smoother ( probably due to the scrub as well ) and much hydrated thereafter. However its only temporary as the effects did not last till the next morning.. I also did not see any whitening and firming benefits too.

So will I repurchase this item? Probably not.

It was smaller than I expected but I am still pleased with anything that has English floral prints.

Review : Simple Facial Cleansing Wipes

Product Description
Our Cleansing Facial Wipes are a perfect blend of cleansing and vitamin goodness to refresh and tone your skin. Perfect for even sensitive skin.

Benefits

NO ALCOHOL, NO OIL
NON DRYING and NON GREASY
NO PERFUME, NO COLOUR
NO UNNECESSARY or HARSH CHEMICALS so it won't upset your skin
Dermatologically Tested and Approved

I bought this specially for the Japan trip when I heard that a friend of mine used this frequently without any breakouts. Its a great alternative to cleanse away make-up while travelling. Basically just use and throw away. Lesser weight on the luggage too.
At $13.80 for 25 sheets, its pretty affordable. I only wish for smaller packet because 25sheets pack is pretty thick and I usually do not need that many sheets, unless on a longer trip.

The adhesive is not that strong, after using 10 sheets, the adhesive is starting to lose its stickiness which is a big no-no as the wipes may get dried up easily.
There is no scent and each sheet is pretty generous as its quite big ( about 15cm by 18cm ) and thick and definitely more than enough for my whole face. However, I am surprised that its not as wet as I thought. Its just moist and I wondered if it would dry up in a shorter time than expected.
It does leave a residue after each wipe and I would usually follow up with a cleanser. It managed to remove my normal non-waterproof mascara without any problem.

My skin did not feel tight or taut and there were no breakouts on my sensitive skin.
However, I do find the wipes abit rough for the delicate skin. Its not exactly soft. Its more like a textured wipe.
For those who are not aware of this brand, Simple is actually the number 1 brand in UK but I do not think I would be getting this again, because of the scratchy and almost abrasive cleansing wipe.
It did cleanse off my make-up but I am not that confident of heavier make-up gunk. I usually use quite light to moderate make-up.

Ingredients

Review : L'occitane Shea Hand Cream

Product Description
Enriched with 20% shea butter, this super creamy balm penetrates quickly to protect, nourish and moisturize hands.

A super-smoothing and best-selling synergy of 20% Shea Butter, honey and sweet almond extract, blended with the light and alluring aromas of jasmine and ylang-ylang essences. Texturally pleasing balm glides on and absorbs to help heal and protect dry or dehydrated skin. Anti-oxidizing vitamin E helps nourish. Invites even the most hard-working hands to a fresh beginning.

My last Sephora purchase from USA included a L'occitane Hand Cream Bouquet back in July which comprises of this 30ml Shea Hand Cream.

Shea Butter is used traditionally by African woman to soothe and smooth skin exposed to Earth's fiercest ultraviolet conditions and it is considered a good moisturiser ingredient.

I have always wanted to try L'occitane famed hand creams for the longest time but the prices are way out of my budget. Thankfully Sephora came to my rescue with a Hand Bouquet which comprises of  4 different hand creams for me to try out, in a friendly travelling size.

This Shea Hand Cream is L'occitane number 1 bestseller, so it must be good, I reckon. It comes in a silver tube which is non-slippery, unlike Crabtree and Evelyn type.

It certainly smells very nice and when I walked into a meeting room, everyone asked me what the smell was. Its indeed addictive. I have both the 30ml ( in office) and 15ml ( in my bag) sizes.
The content is white in colour, which is normal for hand creams. Of a thick texture, it penetrates quickly into the hands without leaving a greasy after feel, it is supposed to make my hands soft and smooth.

Everyone seem to rave about this hand cream but I think I am going to be the first one to say that I do dislike this hand cream. It absorbs well into my hands but I hardly feel any moisturising effect thereafter, in fact, I do find that I need to reach for the hand cream more than ever, just to feel that my hands is well protected from the air-conditioned office.

My hands just feel nothing, or should I say, it just feels dried-out so I have to re-apply again and again. Its not worthwhile for me to spend about $45 on the 150ml here.

Review : Cest Naturel Intensive Mud Hair Mask

Product Description
This luxurious hair mask is packed with olive oil, jojoba extract and Dead Sea mud. It conditions and
strengthens hair, helping to reduce breakage and tangling.

I received a 30g complimentary sample when I purchase some items from Cest Naturel .I really like brands which gave out small sample sizes for users to try out. If they like it, they would have come back to get the retail size. I do not think there is anything to lose, just write it off as part of the Marketing expenses.

The 30g sample size is not exactly big but its enough for one to try it out before investing in the full 250g size.
The direct scent is unbearable but it dissipated once applied on the hair. In fact, I hardly sense any fragrance when I used it on my hair ends, as part of a daily conditioner routine. It last me for about a week.
Olive oil and jojoba extracts have moisturising and softening benefits to the hair and are definitely good stuff. It did make my hair slightly softer than usual but it was not within my expectations of a hair mask, considering that hair mask should be of intensive treatment. I do see a slight shine in my hair, which is good news for me.
It fits my expectations of a conditioner but not of an intensive hair mask conditioning.

If you are interested, you can choose to get the 30g or 250g here or check out the sale products at Cest Naturel

Review : Beauty Credit Coenzyme Q10 Moisturizing Eye Mask

Product Description
Somang Coenzyme Q10 Moisturizing Eye Mask is a hydrogel eye patch that contains Coenzyme Q10 and Gelatin to enhance the resilience and elasticity of dehydrated and non-elastic under-eye skin. After use, skin around eyes is regenerated and moisturized.

Benefits :
- Contains CoEnzyme Q10 anti-oxidants that fight against ageing.
- Moisturizes and regenerate skin around the eye area
- Effective eye repairer for delicate eye
- Prevents puffiness; enhances eye-lift, hydrates eye contours
- Diminishes wrinkles, swelling, dark circles and fatigue.

The benefits certainly sounds awesome, isn't it? A friend had helped to get it for me in Korea where its relatively much cheaper. Not knowing that there are 2 pairs in 1 packet, I had unknowingly threw away my first packet, with much heart pain, considering thats my money down the drain.

Each packet comes with a re-sealable tab, aka the ziplock type so its pretty convenient to just seal it back after use. Both pairs of eye patches are kept in a plastic tray, separated by a white film.
The whole packaging looks well thought-out and does not have the "cheapo" feeling, usually associated with other eye masks in the market. I remembered the price was not cheap in Korea too, so at least the packaging is pleasing to the eye.

After using 5 packets which consist of 10 pairs of eye masks, I realized its not suitable for me after all. It caused itchiness on my undereye area the whole time. Very uncomfortable.
The transparent hydrogel eye masks are slightly moist and refreshing cool. Texture is more to the slimy and slippery type, however it still adheres well to my undereye area as its slightly sticky.
There was no visible improvement on my undereye area but it did leave the area super smooth immediately after the treatment.

Instant Eye Tuck Product Description
- Works both as a treatment and an instant fix for dark circles, under-eye puffiness, fine lines, and skin discoloration
- Designed for use with Easy Eye Solutions Illuminating Eye Care; may also be used independently
- With continued use, the under-eye tissue becomes stronger
- Can be worn with makeup and/or moisturizer. Each bottle contains approximately 300 applications. 15 ml /.05 oz
- pH balanced, Paraben-free, and not tested on animals

I first stumbled upon this brand on a beauty blog and subsequently checked out Essential Day Spa for glowing reviews on both products by quite alot of users. Amazing before and after pictures were posted on the forum for all to see. It was indeed a drastic difference for those ladies.
It piqued my interest further when I read that it also received 4.1/5 from 22 users at Makeupalley .
And so I quickly ordered mine from Easy Eye Solutions. Its expensive but I had high expectations of it and thought this may be the miracle I needed for my under eye area concerns.

I have been using it since May but it has been a disappointing 6 months. A little goes a long way and I still have quite alot from the 15ml bottle.
I have been using Illuminating Eye Care first, followed by Instant Eye Tuck and Dark Circle Treatment for 6 months every morning.

Illuminating Eye Care's essential glucosamine complex claims to strengthen and firm the delicate skin around your eyes; improving it's elasticity. This reduces the appearance of wrinkles and skin discolorations while treating dark circles and under eye puffiness.

Key Ingredients :
Collagen, Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) and Vitamin B5 : To penetrate deep into skin, help to restore and maintain a youthful and luminous look.

White in colour, there is a shimmering effect in the cream, which is supposed to make your eyes look and feel brighter. If I applied too much, there will be some flakes on my undereye area which can be easily brushed off. The cream is not greasy but need some practice to spread it.

The Instant Eye Tuck and Dark Circle Treatment claims to be able to reduce bags and puffiness for a minimum of 12 hours. Continued use will strengthen the under eye tissue with gradual but significant improvement over time.

The almost transparent yellow eye gel is quite a breeze to apply though I always thought the serum should be applied first, before a heavier cream but on the bottle, its recommended to follow up with the serum after the illuminating eye care. There is supposed to have a firming effect but I feel none of the tingling effect as claimed by so many users.

I am actually extremely disappointed with the results. After spending US$100+ to have both products shipped over to Singapore and with rave reviews from so many users, it had given me high hopes but only to be crushed to ground zero again. I see no visible improvement at all.

Illuminating Eye Care Ingredients:

Review : Shills Italian Sea Salts

Product Description
The gentle abrasion of this fine grain, creamy salt scrub sloughs away rough dry surface skin. Every contour of your body is stimulated and renewed as dull, pore-clogging surface dead skin, pimples and blackheads, are exfoliated.

Ginger essence oil helps to accelerate the burning of fat. Great to use in conjunction with a steam room or sauna. Gives your skin an unbelievable glow. Active indulgence for the body.
This body exfoliate contains dead sea salts that is best to eliminate toxins, dead skin, and anti-aging.

I bought this contouring exfoliator from Beauty Bistro when there was a promotion. Its no longer available anymore now.

It caught my attention because it claimed to be able to refine the lower part of the body which is a major problem for most ladies, including myself.

Main Ingredients :
ALA - Anti aging
Dead Sea Salts - Eliminate toxins
Citrus Aurantium Extract - Smooth skin

Alpha lipoic acid functions as both a water-soluble and fat-soluble antioxidant. Infused with pure dead sea salts that help eliminate toxins and replenish depleted nutrients. Enriched with natural citrus aurantium extracts to refine and resurface the texture of the skin and leave it super smooth.

Usage :
Lightly moisten skin with water and apply scrub with circular motions. Allow it to sit on the skin for 2 minutes. Rinse off and continue with your normal shower routine.

When I first received this package in the mail, I thought it would take me a long time to finish it, as it looks like a big tub. Surprisingly, I actually finished the 100ml tub within 1.5 months, using it on a thrice weekly basis or after my exercises.

The lovely sky blue colour with a gel-like and glooey texture with tiny sea salt beads smells nice and is warm when applied on the skin. The first time when I used it, I felt good. Perhaps its a psychological feeling but I actually felt lighter and slender. The warmth gave me the confidence that its working hard on my legs. However, subsequent usages proved that it could be my one-sided love, afterall.

Legs does feel smoother to the touch. However, there was no shapely gams to show off after 1.5 months.

Review The Face Shop Face It Shimmering BB Cream

Product Description
New series of skincare and cosmetic line under the name of "Face It". Shimmering BB contains Pearl Powder that gives the skin a dewy and slight shimmery complexion upon application

I received 2 sachets from a friend when she was in Korea for a business trip. Each sachet last me for about 4 times of usages depending on how much you used.
I really do not understand why this product is termed as a BB cream because its just too shimmery for daily use. Tiny specks of shimmering bits all over the face with no coverage at all. I do not even have flawless skin to boot.

There is a very sweet floral scent which I quite like. The colour has a pinkish tone to bring a subtle glow to the skin, as a highlighter.
The specks are not obvious from afar but one can see it if they talk to you. I felt like a disco ball, the first time I used it alone.
Next, I tried to mix together with my Iope BB cream. The shimmering specks were slightly better. More subtle, but I still do not like to have it all over my face, because it will draw attention to my less than perfect areas. And I do not like to wear shimmer to work.

Finally, I did what I think its best for me. I used it as a highlighter instead. On the cheekbones, after my BB cream application ( weekdays) or after my compact powder ( weekends ). It can also be applied on the brow bones too.
However, when applied after compact powder, it tends to be patchy on my skin, which can be pretty ugly and brought even more attention at the wrong places.
I believe there are much better highlighters out there. And its silly to think that this can be a BB cream because its just not what a BB cream can do. Oh, but there's SPF though.

It has very good staying power and the shimmers are still there after 10hours of wear. Water alone cannot cleanse this off. Even with soap, tiny speaks are still visible. Make-up remover with cleanser or double cleansing are highly recommended.
