Review : HABA Squa Cleansing

Product Description
This luxurious cleanser is enriched with Squalane, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract and Lithospermum Officinale Root Extract. It is formulated to be gentle to even dehydrated and delicate skin. Effectively removes makeup and dirt without leaving any greasy feeling.

Squalane:
Squalane is a natural moisturizer inherent in the human body. The amount secreted decreases with age and excessive washing. HABA has developed Squalane refined to the maximum of 99.9% purity.

During my last purchase of the trial pack from HABA, I fell in love with this cleanser and promptly purchased a 240ml size of HABA Squa Cleansing at 50% off when there was a "exchange your cleanser for a 50% off the retail price"

The 240ml size costs $81 while the refill size costs $77. Housed in a pump dispenser bottle, the pump dispenses appropriate amount of the oil cleanser for a light yet powerful cleansing.

I didn't like it as a make-up remover, preferring a water-based make-up remover to do a more thorough job, however I like using Squa Cleansing thereafter, to clear off any remnants if any.

Initially, I felt that the cleanser is too greasy for my likes, after all, it is an oil cleanser, even with its light and runny consistency. As a maker-up remover, it is recommended to use it on dry skin. As a normal cleanser, I use it on damp skin. It felt gentle and mild so I prefer to use it as a cleanser in the evening after removing my make-up with a separate make-up remover.

With time, I can feel that my skin has become smoother and moisturized, in using this cleanser. My dehydrated skin is much hydrated and the rough texture has been much minimized. It is definitely one of my favourite cleanser for now.
