Grown Alchemist Balancing Toner with Rose, Ginseng and Chamomile was a toner that comes highly recommended by the Grown Alchemist promoter in Australia back in April. According to her, the toner is good, effective and affordable, at AUD29.95.
Grown Alchemist products are ACO ( Australian Certified Organic ) certified. Free of harmful chemicals and preservatives, Grown Alchemist products contain no ingredients derived from nor tested on animals. Their packaging are also made of highly protective, non-leeching, UVA blocking materials that protects the ingredients inside.
Other than the prescription set, I bought this toner as well, since the set does not come with toner. I like the fact that their products are free from skin-aging toxins and carcinogens: no lauryl sulphate, no petrochemicals, no artificial fragrance, no nitrosamine releasers, no D.E.A., no T.E.A., no parabens, no paraffins, no synthetic colors and no glycols.
The toner is contained in a no-frills dark brown bottle with a twist and turn cap. A small hole is where the contents are dispensed onto my usual cotton pads. A gentle swipe over the face is all you need, to keep your skin looking fresh and hydrated.
