Ponds Flawless White BB+ Cream SPF 30 PA++ is housed in a silver and pink coloured combination tube which dispenses the BB cream via a small hole. I started using the product without much expectation but was surprised at how much I love the texture. And at $14.90, it was such a steal. I am being greedy but I really hope it can upgrade to being PA+++, with maximum protection.
Here's how the Light shade looks like, on the back of my hands.
As you can see from the picture, the texture of Ponds Flawless White BB+ Cream SPF 30 PA++ is creamy and emollient, without being greasy. It is smooth and blends like a dream which disappears into my skin, brightening up my skin with a slight dewy glow. It has a thicker consistency than most BB creams ( almost like a foundation ) hence providing a medium coverage and can minimise most redness and blemishes.
The oil control is not that great though, as the sides of my nose oils up by mid-day although it is a small issue, considering how lasting this BB cream is, for the price. I don't use it under my eyes, so I can't comment how effective it is, on dark circles.
Another downside is, the fragrance. A little too strong for me though. Thank goodness, the scent dissipates after a short while.
Note that, beneath this BB cream, a sunscreen is absolutely important because a BB cream won't be able to provide full protection because it is a make-up product after all. You don't layer that much on the skin, to provide adequate protection.
