I received a box of My Beauty Diary Black Pearl Mask as a souvenir from a friend who came back from her business trip in Taiwan. Made in Taiwan, it does not contain paraben, preservatives, alcohol, mineral oils, pigments or fluorescent agents.
I first use it back in 2010 but the ingredients seem to differ slightly. With 3-D refined tailoring and texture characteristics, the new cloth mask is supposed to fit the chin perfectly, providing optimal adherence and comfort. The imported high-purity, environmentally-friendly fiber largely reduces the effects of impurities on the skin. Its elastic and adherent structure instantly infuses the skin with abundant moisture.
It still has the subtle yummy black pearl scent that I like, which reminds me of bubble tea. The material is soft and thin and while the cutting of the mask fits and adheres well, it has a large cut-out at the upper lip area, hence leaving the remaining cloth touching the lips.
Skin feels soft and moisturized after each treatment but does not last till the following morning. I didn't experience any whitening effects though.
