Made in Italy, Davines Nounou Conditioner Nourishing Illuminating Cream is packed in a no-frills industrial-like clear plastic tub. Considering that its origins hail from Italy, I would have expected a more luxe packaging than this, but it works well in the bathroom cabinet, with easy access from its large round opening.

A large dollop is needed for my very long tresses, and the scent is pretty strong and perfumy-like which lingered after each bath. The texture is thick and creamy, almost like a hair mask.

That said, I did not use it directly after a hair colouring job as I have a coloured conditioner for that purpose which paired with my shampoo, but I used this, right after my coloured conditioner was used up, a month later.

Said to have a deep restructuring action and protects coloured treated hair, Davines Nounou Conditioner Nourishing Illuminating Cream coats each hair strand with ease ( just because its so thick and creamy ) and gives my hair volume, not that my thick tresses need it at the moment. It would be great for those with fine limp hair, though do apply sparingly, of course.

Other than the hair volume, I actually did not experience other positive benefits from the conditioner. However, there are others who really like it as it scored 4.2 from 51 users on Makeupalley.
